At Contra, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Every pair is built to perform and tested for durability under demanding conditions.
What’s Covered
If you experience a defect in materials or workmanship within 30 days of purchase under normal use, we’ll review your claim and, at our discretion, offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
What’s Not Covered

Normal wear and abrasion

Chemical exposure, heat damage, or environmental degradation

Misuse, improper care, alterations, or use outside intended purpose

Cosmetic issues that don’t affect function

Third-party modifications or repairs
How to Submit a Claim

Have your order number and purchase date ready.

Take clear photos or video of the issue (for example: Velcro delamination or stitching failure).

Email support@contrafootwear.com with the subject line: Quality Guarantee Claim – Order #12345.
We typically respond within 2–3 business days. Approved claims will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund at Contra’s sole discretion. We may require a return for inspection before final resolution.
Limited Release of Liability
By purchasing and using Contra products, you acknowledge and agree that:

You assume all risks associated with use, including occupational or environmental hazards.

Contra Footwear, its owners, and affiliates are not liable for incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages, including personal injury, loss of use, lost profits, or property damage resulting from product use or failure.

This guarantee is limited exclusively to the repair, replacement, or refund of the affected product as described above.
Intended Use
Product performance and lifespan vary by environment and individual use. Contra footwear is engineered for light-duty use, including roof inspection, general site walking, and everyday mobility where comfort, traction, and versatility are valued.
Our products are not designed for continuous heavy abrasion, high-friction activities, or trades that involve prolonged kneeling, dragging, or scraping against rough surfaces (e.g., shingles, concrete, or metal decking). Products are intended for their stated purpose only. Using products outside their intended scope may void eligibility.
How Returns and Exchanges Work
If you prefer a return or size exchange (outside of the guarantee), please see our Returns & Exchanges page for details. In brief: exchanges receive a prepaid return label; refunds are available within 30 days when products are returned in fully resellable condition.
